Royse City is located in a rural, yet growing area located 30 miles east of Dallas. There is also a wide variety of colleges in the area to choose from: Texas A&M-Commerce, SMU, Eastfield, and Collin County Community Colleges are all within a 20- to 40-minute drive.
RCISD encompasses 74.48 square miles and claims a tri-county boundary: Rockwall, Collin, and Hunt Counties.
ROYSE CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Royse City High School is a public secondary school in the Royse City Independent School District. The new building opened in the fall of 2006, and is located in the southwestern part of Hunt County

H. H. Browning Learning Center is a campus with two separate programs. H. H. Browning Learning Center is designed to enable these students to overcome their situation and graduate.
POETRY COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
PCCS offers an enriching Christ-centered education for more than 250 students in grades Primer through 12th. The school was founded in 2002 and is fully accredited by the international accrediting organization, AdVancEd (Southern Association for College & Schools/SACS Division). PCCS is located on a 9.5 acre campus in rural Poetry, Texas, Located minutes from Los Establos.
